HCM CITY - In response to Humanitarian Month, on the morning of May 5, more than 70 healthy volunteers of Autogrill VFS Tan Son Nhat participated in Chủ Nhật Ðỏ 2023 (Red Sunday) Blood Donation Programme at the international terminal of Tan Son Nhat Airport. This is an annual humanitarian blood donation program organised by Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper in collaboration with Trade Union - Tan Son Nhat International Airport Youth Union and Military Hospital 175.
Every volunteer participating in the programme were invited by the organizers to have breakfast at our Big Bowl and received a motorbike insurance voucher from the Military Insurance Corporation (MIC).
With the message “Donating blood saves lives - Your lives and my lives”, the program attracted the participation of 500 volunteers from Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (TIA), Southern Airports Authority, Saigon Ground Services (SAGS), Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO), Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Gate Customs Branch, Autogrill VFS F&B.
The program received 337 blood units, contributing to increasing the reserve of blood that ensure medical standards, building a healthier and more humane society.
